Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant Role:

• 
  
• Manage project setup, financial tracking, and maintenance within the accounting system.
• 
  
• Collaborate with Project Managers on billing, accounts receivable, and project financial reporting.
• 
  
• Review contracts, subcontracts, and change documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• 
  
• Oversee subcontractor compliance requirements and process vendor payments.
• 
  
• Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including reconciliations and project closeout activities.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• 
  
• 3+ years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or general ledger accounting.
• 
  
• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and contract administration experience.
• 
  
• Experience with construction ERP systems; Vista/Viewpoint experience is a plus. Knowledge of public sector construction projects is highly valued.
