Project Analyst I

Position Summary

The Project Analyst I supports project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing analytical, administrative, and process support to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in alignment with organizational standards.

This role requires strong knowledge of gated project management processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders, contractors, and project leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working with estimates, authorizations, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Process Support

  • Support project teams across all phases of the gated project management lifecycle

  • Update and maintain the estimate log, including:

    • Assignment of estimates

    • Conceptual designs

    • Other deliverables requested by project stakeholders

  • Create, document, and maintain processes for:

    • Project onboarding

    • Metrics and reporting

    • Development and tracking of deliverables

  • Assist in continuous improvement of project support workflows

Contractor & Financial Administration

  • Create and update Contractor Work Authorizations (CWAs)

  • Perform contractor invoice reconciliation, including:

    • Review of account allocations

    • Verification of supporting documentation

    • Coordination with Team Leaders for approval

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with project and financial controls

Coordination & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, team leaders, contractors, and stakeholders

  • Track deliverables, approvals, and required actions to support timely project execution

  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or a related field

  • 5–10 years of experience in a project analyst, project coordinator, or similar role

  • Knowledge of gated project management processes

  • Strong computer skills with experience using relevant software tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
