Required:

• Strong SAP transactional experience
• Outstanding Excel skills
• 3 years of experience in direct procurement, purchasing, buyer, expediting, or supply chain
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing techniques, result-orientation, and strategic-innovative thinking
• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier follow-up, expediting, invoice/payment issues, schedule tracking, procurement reporting, transportation/logistics coordination, and supplier performance management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organization skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage a work queue and ensure that Purchase Orders are issued in due time
• Ensure close cooperation with internal customers for customer care and early involvement
• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, and resolve invoicing/payment issues
• Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems for high process efficiency and compliance
• Support Supplier Management processes including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification
• Maintain records of all documentation and adherence to online purchasing and contract management systems
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities
• Collaborate strongly with global and local project management and the operational material requirements planning team for effective planning, alignment, and execution
• Continuously monitor own procurement list and follow up on execution such as order confirmation, progress, and compliance with quality requirements
• Support and ensure compliance with transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with the Logistics team
• Provide weekly interval schedule progress reports
