Project Coordinator - Construction

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Project Coordinator  in our Des Moines Office.

Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the project's timeline while staying within budget and in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Project Documentation: Maintains project documentation, such as contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and other relevant records.
• Communication: Facilitates effective communication between project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed about project updates and requirements.
• Procurement and Logistics: Assists with procurement processes, including obtaining quotes, ordering materials, and coordinating deliveries.
• Project Support: Supports the Project Manager in monitoring the scope of work performed by subcontractors, ensuring that it meets the contractual obligation.
• Status Reporting: Prepares regular status reports for the Project Manager and other stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, upcoming milestones, and any issues that need to be addressed.
• Budget Tracking: Assists in tracking project expenses and managing budget variances, providing updates to the Project Manager.

Requirements:
•3-5 years in accounting or project management support experience, preferably in the construction industry
•Associate's Degree Accounting, Business, or related field
•No Travel
