    Project Coordinator (K-12)

    We are seeking a mission connected, organized, and people oriented coordinator to support IU Health's growing K-12 workforce development initiatives. This is a brand new position sitting within the Mosaic Center team and working in close daily partnership with the K-12 lead. From coordinating college readiness workshops and job shadows to running Application Days that connect students with real career opportunities at IU Health, this person will play a meaningful role in helping the next generation of healthcare professionals find their path.

    Key Relationships

    Reports to: Executive Director, Workforce Development

    Direct reports: None

    Shift: Full time, Monday - Friday, onsite at the Mosaic Center

    Location: Mosaic Center - Indianapolis, IN

    The Scope:

    This role supports K-12 workforce development programming and coordination at IU Health, including:

    • Coordinating college readiness workshops, facility tours, job shadows, and summer internship programs for K-12 students
    • Collaborating with Indianapolis Public Schools and internal IU Health departments on K-12 pipeline initiatives
    • Planning and running Application Days - job fair style events where students are identified, prepared, and guided through the IU Health application process alongside the Talent Acquisition team
    • Working alongside K-12 Project Lead as a collaborative partner and apprentice in project coordination and program management
    • Tracking program activity and producing reports and data summaries on K-12 initiative outcomes
    • Providing project management support to leaders and team members across assigned initiatives

    Candidate Qualifications

    Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.

    • Clinical license and/or other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

    • 0-3 years of experience is required.

    • Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.

    • Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is required.

    • Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
