    Projects Coordinator

    Job Summary:

    Projects Coordinator

    Responsible for the operation and daily functions of an office environment. Monitors progress on new  build, rebuild, extension, expansion, design, and planning. Assists with the daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff who perform tasks in the same function. Logs and monitors assigned tasks and checks work at regular intervals. Prepares and coordinates for accuracy project coding for daily reports and invoicing. All other duties as assigned by the Manager.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Manage all clerical aspects of the Construction Department to include:

    •  New Build – MDU & SDU
    •  Fiber Span Replacements
    • Metro E
    • MDU Rewire
    • Force Relocates
    • Pole transfer and Maintenance Job (Expense)
    • Retrieve jobs/work orders from our client-based database or email.
    •  Update department log with job/work order information on a daily basis.
    • Evaluate workload on Street Sheet and distribute projects accordingly. 
    • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
    • Follow-up on customer complaints and utility damage.
    • Maintain scheduling of On-call calendar.
    • Validate Daily reports to justify charges prior to releasing for invoicing/payroll.
    • Forward thinking capabilities

    Job Specification:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Generally, requires 3-5 years working in an office environment.
    • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
    • Intermediate Excel
    • Email (Gmail/Outlook)
    • Proficient with Desktop, laptop, and or iPad
    • Ability to communicate effectively; both written and verbally
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Time and Project Management Skills is a plus
    • Accounting experience with (AR/AP) is also a plus
