Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager (APM)

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of construction experience, preferably with a commercial concrete contractor, steel fabrication company, or general contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and clients.
• Track RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with material procurement and cost control.
• Help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience with a commercial concrete contractor, steel fabricator, or general contractor preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred.
