GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established Northern California general contractor with deep multifamily expertise across market-rate, affordable, senior and student housing. The company is adding a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily to its team in Cupertino, CA. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.

The Role

Focus: Multifamily construction experience with a general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Support multifamily projects including market-rate, affordable and student housing
• Support the PM with submittals, RFIs, procurement and subcontractor coordination
• Track budgets, change orders and schedules
• Grow toward full project management responsibility
• Manage RFIs, submittals and project documentation
• Support field and office teams with coordination and quality control

Requirements

• Multifamily construction experience with a general contractor.
• Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
