Project Engineer - Commercial & Public Construction

Overview

Start or grow your construction career with a growing Columbus commercial GC/construction manager with public and private work across Ohio. You'll support PMs on commercial and public projects and learn the full project lifecycle. If you deliver results and care about doing it right, let's talk.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control
• Support buyout, scheduling, and cost tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors, designers, and the field team
• Attend OAC meetings and keep meeting minutes
• Help with prevailing-wage and public-owner paperwork

Requirements

• 0–4 years of construction experience (internships and co-ops count)
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
• Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication
