Project Engineer - Data Center Construction

A respected general contractor in the northwest Chicago suburbs is hiring a Project Engineer for its data center team. You'll support fast-paced mission critical builds and learn from project leaders who invest in growing their people.

What You'll Do

• Manage RFIs, submittals and document control on data center projects
• Track MEP coordination, equipment deliveries and procurement logs
• Support the project manager with budgets, change orders and buyout
• Work with the field team on quality, commissioning and closeout
• Keep owners, designers and trade partners informed and on schedule

What You Bring

• 2+ years of project engineering experience with a general contractor
• Data center, mission critical or heavy MEP project experience preferred
• Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field
• Comfort with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
• Strong organization and clear, proactive communication

What We Offer

• Pay range: $80,000–$105,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus
