Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** : + Bachelor’s degree in **Electrical Engineering** from an accredited program + **8+ years** of progressive electrical engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications** : + Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering + 12+ years of electrical engineering experience + Licensed **Professional Engineer (PE)** in Colorado or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months + Strong working knowledge of **NEC, NFPA, IES** , and applicable building codes + Experience designing building electrical systems including power, lighting, emergency, and low‑voltage systems + Proficiency with electrical analysis and design tools such as **SKM, ETAP, Easypower, Revit, and AutoCAD** + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to perform site visits; valid driver’s license required + Prior experience in a team lead, department lead, or mentoring‑heavy role + Experience with aviation, federal, mission‑critical, or science & technology facilities + Background in resilient power systems, microgrids, electrification, or sustainability‑driven design + Advanced BIM coordination experience + Credentials such as LEED AP, CEM, or NCEES Record **Additional Information** + Due to the nature of the work, sponsorship is not available for this position. **About Buildings + Places** AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice integrates architecture, interiors, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and advisory services to deliver holistic, resilient, and innovative building solutions.
