Our client is a privately held, veteran owned general contractor with more than a decade of experience. It holds both general engineering and general building licenses, along with a mechanical license, so it can self perform civil work, site work, and HVAC under one roof. Its clients include federal agencies, public sector owners, healthcare systems, schools, and private developers. The team delivers projects through traditional bid and design build models.

The company is small enough that every person matters and large enough to take on complex, high visibility federal work. Leaders spend time in the field and hold themselves to the same standards they set for crews. Safety comes first on every job.

Job Details

Hands on experience in federal construction, with familiarity with agency specifications, quality control requirements, and contract documentation
Background in civil, site work, and/or mechanical scopes
Working knowledge of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and contract administration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with common project management software and Microsoft Office
Willingness to commute to or relocate near a remote project area (this is a key screening factor)

Preferred qualifications

State or municipal public works experience
A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience
OSHA 30 and other relevant safety certifications
Candidates from private commercial or residential backgrounds will be considered if their experience translates to a heavy civil or federal environment
