Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer II to lead and support capital projects, process improvement initiatives, equipment installations, and manufacturing optimization efforts at our Philadelphia, PA plant. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. 

What You Will Do:

Project Management 

  • Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover. 

  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments. 

  • Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. 

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 

Manufacturing Process Improvement 

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability. 

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. 

Equipment and Capital Projects 

  • Lead equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities. 

  • Support automation, controls, and technology upgrades. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline. 

  • 5 years of chemical manufacturing engineering experience or related. 

  • Experience managing capital or process improvement projects. 

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • PMP certification preferred. 

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. 

  • Experience with CAD, ERP, MES, or CMMS systems. 

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
