Project Engineer Internship

J.F. Brennan Company (Brennan) is seeking talented and motivated interns for the summer of 2027.

As an intern, you'll be working closely with our marine professionals on various job sites, gaining hands-on experience in marine construction, underwater construction, or environmental remediation and restoration. This position involves 100% travel to project-specific job sites, with locations to be determined based on project needs and relative to the intern's locations when available. Intern Responsibilities:

• Track daily project progress
• Manage day-to-day operations
• Prepare and review submittals & RFIs
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Assist PMs/Superintendents with field tasks
• Help with project bids and change orders
• Data tracking, management, and reporting
• Ensure quality control of project drawings/specifications

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Surveying, Natural Resources, or a related field
• Willing to travel full-time to various job sites
• Flexible and adaptable to changing locations
• Comfortable working long hours, nights, and weekends
• Ability to take on responsibility and continuously learn
• Enjoy working near or on the water
