JOB SUMMARY

Assist Project Managers with construction design changes, progress, and updates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or similar field) or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in electrical construction is preferred.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
Must have a working knowledge of job cost tracking.
Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of document controls.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Track construction contract design changes and updates
Track of project construction progress in addition to tracking job costs
Read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
Coordinate design changes within construction team
Assist with preparation of change orders and maintenance of project change order logs.
Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule.
Assist with development and maintenance of submittals log and RFI logs.
Ability to prepare project submittals and submit written RFIs to client.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
