Project Engineer

• Support Project Managers with the coordination and execution of multiple landscape construction projects.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
• Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and procurement activities.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
• Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project forecasting.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Support permit applications, inspections, and closeout documentation.
• Help identify and resolve project challenges while minimizing delays and cost impacts.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Construction, or a related field preferred.
• 1-5 years of construction, site development, utility, landscaping, or project engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
