Project Engineer / Project Manager

You’ll manage multiple custom manufacturing projects at once, working directly with customers, engineering designs, and production teams to bring steel fabrication to life.

Think:

• Material handling racks, containers, and dunnage
• Custom, one-off and short-run builds
• Real ownership from quote to production to delivery

What You’ll Do

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Review technical drawings, specs, and blueprints to ensure accuracy
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and execution plans
• Track progress, manage change orders, and communicate updates
• Coordinate with production, vendors, and customers to keep jobs moving
• Support production planning and efficiency tracking
• Troubleshoot issues during fabrication and build

What You Bring

• 3+ years in manufacturing or fabrication project management
• Experience in steel, metal structures, or custom fabrication strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints
• Strong Excel skills (you’ll use it daily)
• Comfortable managing multiple projects (often 8–10 at once)
• Strong communication skills, you’ll be customer-facing
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Degree in Engineering preferred, but experience counts
