Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, schedules, and scopes of work for offsite manufacturing and construction projects.
  • Manage procurement and purchasing activities, including coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee supply chain coordination to support project timelines and offsite manufacturing needs.
  • Track project financials, including budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking, to support adherence to project budgets.
  • Assist with financial oversight by reviewing and approving change orders and monitoring cost impacts on projects.
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor communication to ensure efficient material flow and on-time delivery to project sites.
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and schedule tracking using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Interpret shop drawings and support construction sequencing, particularly for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) and HVAC systems.
  • Support project managers and field teams with technical documentation, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve overall project efficiency and coordination.
  • Apply a strong understanding of construction processes, including steel work, heavy equipment, and general construction sequencing, to support project execution.
  • Work closely with major mechanical subcontractors and project stakeholders on commercial and data center projects, primarily involving HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance construction methods, offsite manufacturing processes, and coordination practices.
  • Communicate proactively with team members, vendors, and field personnel to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and maintain project clarity.
  • Support a fast-paced project environment by adapting to changing priorities and maintaining composure under pressure.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and field experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
  • Two or more years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
  • Proficiency with Navisworks for model review and coordination.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam for document review, markups, and collaboration.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking costs, schedules, and project data.
  • Experience using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, including steel, heavy equipment, and general construction sequencing.
  • Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics in a construction or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with financial oversight on projects, including budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.
  • Experience working with mechanical and MEP systems, particularly HVAC systems, preferably with a major mechanical subcontractor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project coordination on commercial construction projects.
  • Accountable and teachable approach, with a track record of taking ownership, communicating proactively, and learning quickly.
  • Technically proficient foundation in construction principles, tools, and methods.
  • Process-oriented mindset, with the ability to think in systems and dependencies and solve coordination challenges.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and remain calm under pressure.
  • Efficiency-focused approach, valuing progress and clarity over perfectionism.
  • Curious and innovative attitude, with a passion for improving construction methods and project workflows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background working with major mechanical contractors or subcontractors on HVAC and mechanical systems.
