Job Description
Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Project Execution Assistant on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh-area manufacturer. Our client is looking for a self-motivated professional with an order execution background supporting industrial projects.
DUTIES
- Provide support to the engineering and project management departments as needed.
- Assist with project execution activities, including development of project schedules, procurement support, project quality scheduling, monthly project presentations, cash flow updates, logistics support, drawing/transmittal support, technical writing, and assembly of project manuals.
- Work with internal and external personnel to gather, organize, and present project information as needed.
- Support non-conformance processes, reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Travel to project and supplier locations within the U.S. and internationally as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with an OEM supporting industrial projects as a Project Engineer, Project Scheduler, or Project Accountant.
- SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and invoices related to project requirements and deliverables.
- Ability to interpret project contracts and assist in developing project schedules with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Ability to assess problems, identify causes, gather and evaluate relevant information, develop potential solutions, and make recommendations or resolve issues.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
