Project Executive – Electrical Data Center Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide senior-level leadership and oversight for large-scale electrical construction projects, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in data center, mission-critical, or other complex electrical construction environments.

This is a traveling position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable relocating to the project location, living in that area for several years while the project is completed, and then relocating to the company's next project. This is a long-term career opportunity for someone who enjoys leading major projects and is open to traveling and relocating as projects change.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight and leadership for large-scale electrical construction projects
• Oversee project managers, project teams, and field operations
• Maintain responsibility for overall project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction
• Establish project strategy and provide direction throughout preconstruction and construction
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders
• Review project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial performance
• Monitor project progress and provide leadership in resolving major project issues
• Oversee change management, procurement, contracts, and risk mitigation
• Lead project meetings and communicate project performance to senior leadership and clients
• Identify opportunities to improve project execution, profitability, and efficiency
• Mentor and develop project management and field leadership teams
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical construction experience
• Significant experience leading large-scale electrical construction projects
• Strong preference for candidates with data center, mission-critical, industrial, or similarly complex project experience
• Experience overseeing multiple project managers and large project teams
• Strong understanding of electrical construction, project financials, contracts, scheduling, and risk management
• Proven experience managing large project budgets and client relationships
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with executives, owners, general contractors, and field teams
• Proficiency with construction/project management software

Travel & Relocation

• This is a traveling position with projects located throughout the country
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to the project location for several years at a time
• Once a project is completed, candidates will be expected to relocate to the company's next project
• Candidates should be comfortable making long-term relocations and adapting to different project locations throughout their career
