Project Executive – Mechanical Construction

Location: Bentonville, AR | Full-Time

We’re partnered with a well-established, multi-office mechanical contractor expanding in Northwest Arkansas and looking to bring on a Project Executive to lead operations across a growing portfolio of work.

This is a true leadership role focused on financial performance, team oversight, and client relationships. You won’t be managing a single job—you’ll be responsible for the business performance of multiple projects and the people running them.

The group has a strong presence in healthcare and complex commercial work, with a reputation for repeat clients and disciplined project execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own financial performance across multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Drive P&L accountability and ensure projects are delivered profitably
• Oversee and mentor Project Managers, holding teams accountable to performance, schedule, and margin
• Partner with leadership on business planning, staffing strategy, and operational growth
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, GCs, and healthcare systems
• Review contracts, pricing strategies, and risk exposure across the portfolio
• Provide high-level oversight on project execution, reporting, and financial tracking
• Support preconstruction efforts, including estimating strategy and project pursuits
• Step in on critical projects to resolve issues, mitigate risk, and protect profitability

What They’re Looking For:

• 10–15+ years in mechanical construction with progression into senior leadership
• Proven experience managing financials across multiple projects or a business unit
• Strong background in cost control, forecasting, and margin performance
• Experience leading teams of Project Managers or operations staff
• Background in commercial construction; healthcare experience is a strong plus
• Strong business acumen and ability to think beyond individual projects
• Comfortable operating at a leadership level with ownership and accountability
