About This Role

Our client, a global media and entertainment organization, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager / Business Analyst for an initial 6-month remote contract, with occasional travel to Los Angeles, CA for key meetings. This role will support an accounting systems integration between two studio environments and partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Technology, and Business SME stakeholders to review requirements, validate data, support UAT, and help drive integration work forward in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.

What You Will Work On

• Serve in a combined Project Manager and Business Analyst capacity, supporting requirements review, documentation, issue resolution, stakeholder follow-up, and project execution.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Business SMEs, and Technology teams to interpret accounting requirements, address comments, clarify open items, and ensure requirements are complete and actionable.
• Support ERP integration activities, including chart of accounts alignment and integration between two studio environments.
• Coordinate data validation, mapping review, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing to help ensure data accuracy and integration readiness.
• Document decisions, risks, dependencies, open questions, and next steps to keep stakeholders aligned and workstreams moving forward.
• Navigate ambiguous requirements, shifting priorities, limited resources, and stakeholder availability constraints while maintaining progress and accountability.
• Leverage AI tools in day-to-day work to improve documentation, automate repetitive tasks, summarize information, and create efficiency where appropriate.

What You Will Bring

• Project management experience leading complex accounting projects, including cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, stakeholder follow-up, and execution across accounting, finance, and technology teams.
• Business analysis experience owning the review, completion, and documentation of requirements documents, including business, functional, process, and accounting requirements.
• Working knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to understand how accounting requirements translate into systems, data, and integration activities.
• Hands-on experience supporting data validation, data mapping, testing, UAT, defect resolution, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Experience supporting ERP integration work; SAP, S/4HANA, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or similar ERP exposure is helpful.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, open items, and changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, learn quickly, ask insightful questions, and move work forward with minimal structure.
