Project Manager - Data Risk & Privacy Programs

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the development and implementation of enterprise data risk, privacy, and governance programs. This role is ideal for a strong PM who has managed complex, cross-functional data initiatives and understands core data concepts without needing to be hands-on technically.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on data risk management, data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Develop project plans and manage timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and implementation activities
• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple business and technology teams
• Support large-scale initiatives such as data migrations, data storage, and sensitive data protection
• Drive new programs from planning through implementation
• Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and keep projects moving against established objectives

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience within complex enterprise environments
• Experience managing data-related projects, ideally involving data migration, privacy, governance, or risk
• Working knowledge of concepts such as metadata, data lineage, data validation, and data testing
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects through execution
• Financial services or payments experience is a plus, but not required
• SQL and Python are not required

Location / Work Arrangement

• Hybrid, minimum 3 days onsite per week
• Richmond, VA strongly preferred
• McLean, VA may also be considered
