Job Description:
This is in support of one of our largest customers within the AEC/EPC industry.
This role will manage projects typically ranging up to approximately ***M in total construction value, including parking lots and garages, roofing replacements, building retrofits, and other facility upgrades across schools within the system.
The Project Manager I will act as the day-to-day liaison between the school system, design consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned capital projects from early planning through construction closeout, ensuring adherence to approved scope, budget, and schedule
Assist with pre-design and design-phase coordination, including scope development, constructability input, and review of drawings and specifications
Support procurement activities such as bid package review, contractor selection assistance, and coordination of contract execution
Serve as the school system’s representative during construction, acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, consultants, and inspectors
Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety requirements, and quality standards
Facilitate communication between school administrators, facilities staff, and construction teams to minimize operational disruption
