Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Project Manager for a contract position for a performing data and analytics team. This role will lead Agile delivery efforts across initiatives focused on business intelligence, data warehousing, master data management, data integration, data quality, and data governance. The ideal candidate brings strong Scrum leadership experience, a solid understanding of data management concepts, and a passion for helping teams deliver business value.

Location: 100% Remote within Wisconsin

Candidates must be current Wisconsin residents. Relocation is not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams supporting data and analytics initiatives.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Manage multiple Scrum boards and workstreams using Jira.
• Partner with technical and business teams to deliver projects involving data integration, data conversion, MDM, BI, analytics, and data warehousing.
• Remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and promote continuous improvement across teams.
• Monitor team progress, resource utilization, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to Agile team members.
• Support both project delivery and operational work management.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver status updates, presentations, and project communications.
• Apply Agile and traditional project management practices as needed to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.
• Experience leading Scrum teams supporting ETL, data conversion, master data management (MDM), data warehousing, business intelligence, or analytics initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams and concurrent workstreams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
• Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience coaching teams, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience providing leadership to highly technical teams supporting enterprise data initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Experience supporting data lake, data governance, data architecture, data modeling, or data quality initiatives.
• Experience working in enterprise data and analytics environments.
• Scrum Master, Agile, or Project Management certifications.

The base range for this contract position is $55.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all U.S. locations. Individual compensation is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
