We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale public and commercial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on projects exceeding $10M in scope. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to project execution, financial management, and team leadership, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout
  • Oversee projects with contract values exceeding $10M, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction
  • Develop and manage detailed project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Maintain full ownership of project financials including cost control, change orders, and risk management
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with all public sector regulations, safety standards, and contractual requirements
  • Utilize Procore for project management, documentation, scheduling, and communication
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Mentor and support junior project management staff

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven experience managing public and commercial construction projects
  • Demonstrated success managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M
  • Strong proficiency with Procore (required)
  • Hands-on experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with municipal, state, or federally funded projects
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
