Job Description

Lead all phases of a ground-up multifamily construction project from preconstruction through closeout. Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and overall project performance. Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Drive project quality, safety, and compliance standards across all phases of construction. Monitor project financials and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and delays. Collaborate directly with executive leadership to provide project updates and strategic guidance. Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure project goals are achieved while delivering exceptional results for ownership and end users.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Experience managing large-scale apartment developments.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and construction operations.
• Ability to work independently and step into an established project with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact directly with senior leadership.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience managing projects with 300+ residential units.
• Familiarity with the Charlotte or broader North Carolina construction market.
• Experience working within entrepreneurial or growth-oriented construction organizations.
