Job Overview

A well-established commercial general contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join its growing team.

Project experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:

• Healthcare and medical facilities

• Retail and commercial developments

• Tilt-wall and industrial construction

• Commercial interiors and tenant improvements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall execution.

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

• Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

• Monitor project costs, schedules, and overall profitability.

• Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements, and deadlines.

• Identify potential challenges and proactively develop solutions.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Previous Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor.

• Experience managing commercial construction projects independently.

• Background in healthcare, retail, tilt-wall, or commercial interiors preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with construction management software is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
