Project Manager - Concrete Construction

Location: St. Joe, IN | On-site office role with jobsite visits | Daily office attendance required

Take ownership of concrete projects--from planning the work to seeing it take shape. Bring your construction knowledge and organizational skills to a family-owned company that values initiative, clear communication, and quality workmanship. At All Trade Construction, you'll manage commercial and residential concrete projects while connecting clients, estimators, and field crews.

About the Company

Founded in 1998, All Trade Construction builds on generations of construction experience. Our work includes concrete construction, laser screeding, and steel building erection for new facilities and renovation projects.

We believe in doing the job right the first time, avoiding shortcuts, and building lasting relationships through integrity and dependable workmanship.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you'll oversee concrete projects from pre-construction through completion. Your work will help keep jobs on schedule, maintain quality, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and control costs.

This role calls for someone who can identify priorities, make progress independently, and communicate when decisions or support are needed. You should be ready to contribute with limited initial training.

You'll work primarily in the office, with occasional site visits. Flexibility is required for early morning pours and extended hours, including some weekends or holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review estimates, project scopes, blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications before work begins.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings with clients, general contractors, and superintendents; coordinate contracts and certificates of insurance.
  • Order and schedule concrete, reinforcing materials, formwork, and equipment rentals. Create and maintain upcoming work schedules based on crew availability, weather, and site readiness.
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, pump trucks, and ready-mix deliveries to reduce delays and standby time.
  • Visit jobsites as needed to review conditions, preparation, formwork, reinforcement, and vapor barriers against engineering requirements.
  • Track concrete quantities ordered against quantities placed to reduce waste and over-ordering.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor hours, material costs, and equipment expenses against estimates.
  • Document work outside the agreed scope and process change orders with clients before that work begins.
  • Maintain clear communication among clients, estimators, leadership, and field teams.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of structural concrete construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints, architectural drawings, and geotechnical reports.
  • Proficiency with project management software, Excel or Google Sheets, and Google Drive/file management.
  • Strong organization, communication, and independent problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to attend the St. Joe office daily and live within a 45-minute commute. Ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb ladders, work around heavy machinery, and spend extended periods working at a computer.

Preferred

  • Two or more years of concrete project management experience.
  • JobTread experience.
  • OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour certification.
  • ACI certification or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills.

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-Time, W-2 employment
  • Pay/Compensation: Your annual compensation will be within the range of $65,000-$85,000 a year (will be negotiated and confirmed in future depending on experience etc.), paid in bi-weekly installments.
  • This includes $10,000 in benefits (3,462 for three weeks of paid vacation, and the remaining $6,538 will be paid out with your bi-weekly paychecks).
  • Pay Increase & Salary Potential: Based upon Company growth, increased responsibilities and performance evaluations, you are eligible for pay increases.
  • Framework for increased potential follows the 30/60/90-day assessment, to which a re-evaluation will be discussed but not promised.
  • Company Benefits: Paid Vacation, Sick, Personal and Holiday: You will receive paid Holidays for the major holidays: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.
  • You will receive two weeks of paid vacation: One week during the first 6 months, and one week during the second 6 months.
  • You will receive one week of paid sick time off.

Why Join All Trade Construction?

  • Work with a team that values open communication, clear expectations, and doing things right.
  • Bring your judgment to a role where initiative and follow-through matter every day.
  • See the results of your work across commercial and residential concrete projects while broadening your experience from planning through completion.
