Job Description

Commercial Construction Project Manager

Our client is a growing design-build construction firm specializing in commercial construction and building systems projects. They manage projects from concept through completion, serving public, education, institutional, and community-focused clients across multiple states.

Lead commercial construction projects through all phases, from conceptual planning to project closeout.

Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams to support integrated project delivery.

Manage project schedules, budgets, risk, and client communications.

Oversee construction execution as either the General Contractor or Construction Manager, depending on project structure.

Direct and collaborate with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and external partners.

Support procurement, contract administration, and project controls activities.

Ensure quality, safety, and compliance requirements are met throughout project delivery.

Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector, educational, and institutional clients.

Manage complex MEP, HVAC, lighting, and building infrastructure upgrade projects.

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

8+ years of experience within commercial construction.

Experience working for a large General Contractor.

Working knowledge of MEP scopes and HVAC systems.

Proven ability to manage projects through the full construction lifecycle.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Competitive base salary up to $135K
