THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLEAs a project manager, you play an essential role assisting the senior project manager with all phases of the bidding process beginning with searching for bidding opportunities all the way through construction and project closeout. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLE Candidates with a degree in construction engineering management, civil engineering, or a related engineering field will be given strong consideration; however, individuals with solid hands-on construction experience are also encouraged to apply.1+ years of relevant experience in the field of excavation/horizontal constructionAbility to interpret bid documents, plans and all other related project/construction documentsExperience with performing takeoffs and ability to calculate, analyze and adjust estimatesCurrent OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification and a valid driver's license required.Knowledge of state bidding practices (MA/CT)Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn industry-specific software programs quicklyMust possess exceptional organizational and communication skillsWillingness to travel locally to various job sites/meetings WORK SCHEDULEThis full-time, exempt, salaried position typically works Monday through Friday.
