What Youll Do as a Project Manager
As a project manager, you will lead all phases of architectural design projects across Dallas while serving as the main client point of contact:
- Present capabilities and pursue new opportunities to win design projects in Dallas
- Organize, schedule, and lead meetings with clients, consultants, and construction teams
- Coordinate internal design teams and external consultants to ensure project alignment
- Review space planning and design solutions for code compliance and alignment with client goals
- Secure client approvals for planning, design, and FF&E selections
- Lead the documentation process, ensuring accurate translation of design into construction documents
- Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality
- Assist with bid reviews and oversee construction administration phases
- Manage team productivity and ensure financial performance and profitability of each project
- Issue additional service requests when project scope evolves
What You Bring
- 48+ years of experience as a project manager in architectural or interior design, ideally focused on workplace/tenant projects in Dallas or similar markets
- Degree in Interior Design or related design field (or equivalent experience)
- Interior Design (RID) licensure required
- Strong understanding of the full design and construction process
- Knowledge of building systems (MEP, structural) and applicable codes (ADA/TAS)
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage clients, and deliver successful design projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
