Job Description

The responsibilities of the Project Manager are:

• Manage day-to-day execution of a large-scale school addition and renovation project.
• Partner closely with project leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and joint venture partners.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project coordination.
• Drive accountability across project stakeholders to maintain schedule, quality, and performance expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively to minimise risk and maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with senior project leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in project reporting, meetings, and communication with key stakeholders.
• Travel to and work from the project site near Winston-Salem as required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager will have:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to succeed within a joint venture or highly collaborative project environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the confidence to manage subcontractors and project teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive, assertive, and solution-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience delivering education, K-12, or higher education projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to commute to the project site near Winston-Salem and maintain connection with the Raleigh office as needed.
