Project Manager - Data Center Construction

West Atlanta has become one of the busiest data center corridors in the Southeast, and the campuses keep getting bigger. A respected general contractor is looking for a Project Manager to lead mission-critical builds around Douglasville and the greater Atlanta area. If you like big, fast-moving projects and a team that has your back, this one is worth a look.

What You'll Do

• Lead data center projects from preconstruction and buyout all the way through commissioning and turnover
• Own the budget, cost forecasts, change orders and schedule, and keep everyone on the same page
• Partner with owners, design teams and electrical and mechanical trade partners to solve problems early
• Work side by side with superintendents to keep sites safe, productive and on schedule
• Coach and develop assistant project managers and project engineers
• Keep owners informed with clear, honest progress updates

What You Bring

• Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)
• Hands-on knowledge of heavy MEP, critical power, cooling systems and phased turnovers
• Strong scheduling, cost control and subcontractor management skills
• An approachable, team-first style and great communication skills
• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
