Description

Title: Project Manager / Designer
Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Alternate location: Wilmington, DE (hybrid)
Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension

We are seeking a dynamic, multi-talented Project Manager with Creative Design skills to join our team supporting a Fortune 100 financial services client. This unique, hybrid role is perfect for a highly organized coordinator or junior project manager who also possesses a strong visual eye and hands-on design capabilities.

In this role, you will spend roughly 70% of your time managing project lifecycles, driving timelines, and coordinating cross-functional marketing campaigns. The remaining 30% will be spent jumping into the creative trenches—handling quick design updates, versioning assets, and ensuring all visual outputs align perfectly with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Operations (Approx. 70%)

  • Campaign Coordination: Manage the end-to-end workflow for multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring all deliverables (digital, print, email, and social) are on time and within scope.

  • Timeline & Resource Tracking: Develop project schedules, set milestones, and facilitate daily status meetings or stand-ups to keep creative teams aligned.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between internal marketing stakeholders, creative directors, copywriters, and production teams.

  • Traffic & Asset Management: Organize, traffic, and maintain digital asset management systems to ensure seamless delivery to deployment teams.

Creative & Design Support (Approx. 30%)

  • Asset Production & Versioning: Step in to support the creative team by executing minor design tweaks, resizing banners, updating copy on existing layouts, and formatting presentations.

  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure all creative assets rigidly adhere to the client's established financial services brand guidelines, regulatory compliance requirements, and design standards.

  • Presentation Design: Help format and polish high-stakes internal and external marketing presentations or pitch decks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in project management or traffic coordination within a creative agency or corporate in-house marketing department.

  • Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides).

  • Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with enterprise workflow tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, or Jira).

  • Industry Context: Experience working within regulated industries (such as financial services, banking, or insurance) is highly preferred but not required.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate matrixed corporate environments.
