Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee excavation and site utility projects, with a focus on site lighting, underground conduit installation, site electrical, and telecom duct banks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex civil scopes, preferably within data center or mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of excavation and site utility construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee installation of underground conduits, duct banks, site lighting, and site electrical systems
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and utility providers
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and project specifications
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving field issues as they arise
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in excavation, civil, or site utility construction
• Strong experience with underground utilities including electrical and telecom infrastructure
• Data center or mission-critical project experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial site development
• Familiarity with utility coordination and permitting processes
• Background in high-demand environments (data centers, campuses, infrastructure projects)
