Project Manager – Electrical Transmission & Distribution (EPC)Location: Flexible / Project-BasedPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry. This role will lead Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects that support utility infrastructure across North America.The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the technical, commercial, and operational requirements of EPC project delivery, along with a proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams in the execution of complex transmission, distribution, and substation projects.This position requires disciplined project controls, exceptional leadership, and a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction—overseeing projects from early planning through commissioning and closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the successful execution of Electrical T&D EPC projects, including transmission lines, substations, and distribution infrastructure.Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients and project stakeholders.Manage project scope, deliverables, and overall execution strategy from kickoff through completion.Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning disciplines.Ensure project designs and field execution comply with utility specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate closely with field teams to ensure safe, high‑quality, and efficient construction execution.Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.Maintain detailed project schedules and critical path analysis.Identify and mitigate cost or schedule risks.Administer EPC contracts, including change order management, claims resolution, and subcontractor oversight.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project deliverables.Support procurement teams in evaluating and managing subcontractors and vendors.Promote and enforce a zero‑incident safety culture across all project phases.Ensure conformance with OSHA, utility safety standards, and internal safety programs.Maintain strict adherence to quality expectations throughout engineering, procurement, and construction activities.Build and sustain strong relationships with utility clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams.Provide consistent project reporting, status updates, and executive‑level communication.Core CompetenciesUtility Infrastructure Project DeliveryEPC Contract ManagementClient Relationship ManagementField & Construction CoordinationWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you will deliver complex electrical infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, and within budget , while strengthening client relationships and advancing the development of critical power systems across North America.Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of project management experience in Electrical Transmission & DistributionProven track record delivering EPC projects for utilities or energy infrastructureStrong understanding of substation engineering and constructionExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teamsDemonstrated success managing budgets, schedules, and financial performanceExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical fieldPMP certification or equivalent project management credentialExperience with major utilities or EPC contractorsProficiency with project management software, including Microsoft Project and ProcoreSalaryPosted Salary Range: Minimum $144,600.00 – Upper $200,000.00. The base salary range for this position is $144,600.00 to $200,000.00.
