Description

Position Summary

The Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy-related projects, including energy efficiency upgrades, renewable energy installations (solar, etc.), building decarbonization, and infrastructure improvements in NYC facilities. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing project budgets and schedules, and conducting client-facing activities. The selected candidate would be responsible for project management for Audit, Design, and Construction phase energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of energy projects from initiation through closeout, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Lead team in planning work and developing solutions to technical problems
  • Supervise preparation of construction documents by Design team
  • Present concepts to clients and represent Labella's interests externally
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Track project performance, risks, change orders, and reporting on budgets, timelines, and energy savings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and agency-specific regulations.
  • Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provide support as necessary.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000 per year
