Position:- Project Manager (Enterprise Asset Management – EAM) Location:- Washington, DC (Remote with Quarterly travel required for PI Planning (Northeast corridor, typically WIL DE/PHL PA/WAS DC) Duration:- Long term contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate brings proven experience working within structured project governance frameworks, applies strong critical thinking and skills, and has familiarity with rail infrastructure assets and asset lifecycle management. This is a highly collaborative role, working across delivery, technology, and operational teams to support informed decision-making and successful program outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
Influence without authority and navigate competing priorities effectively.
Tools and Technical Proficiency
Experience using project management tools such as Jira and MS Project.
Proficiency with documentation and analysis tools including Visio, Lucid, Confluence, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience working with data sets, dashboards, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Comfortable using data and visualizations to support insights and decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent and 8+ years of project management experience in asset-intensive or infrastructure environments.
Knowledge of infrastructure asset management and asset lifecycle processes.
Experience working within formal project governance frameworks (PMO, PMBOK, stage-gate).
Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with Rail Infrastructure/Linear Assets.
Experience with enterprise work management systems such as Maximo or Hexagon.
Familiarity with reliability, condition-based maintenance, or performance analytics.
Relevant certifications (PMP and/or asset management certifications such as IAM or ISO 55000).
