Project Manager & Estimator - Steel Fab and Erection

Build your career in steel with a fabricator and erector serving the Liberty area. The company specializes in structural and miscellaneous steel packages and is looking for an early- to mid-career Estimator / Project Manager who wants to develop estimating and project management skills together.

In this role you will:

• Prepare bids and proposals, pulling in detailing, erection, and coatings quotes
• Coordinate the work between general contractors, detailers, the shop, and field crews
• Complete takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Carry awarded projects through fabrication and erection, managing schedule, budget, and change orders
• Oversee RFIs and submittals and keep project costs on track

You should have:

• 2-8 years of steel estimating, project management, or related construction experience
• A working knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• Experience reading structural and architectural drawings
• Preferably a degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience
• Bonus points for estimating software experience

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 per year, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates from competitors.
