Project Manager/ Estimator

Coastline Contracting, Inc. is looking for an experienced Project Estimator / Project Manager to join our team.

We are seeking someone who understands the construction industry and can take a project from the estimating and bidding stage through completion. This position will play an important role in helping us pursue new work while ensuring awarded projects stay organized, on schedule, and profitable.

Responsibilities include:
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare accurate estimates for grading, sitework, asphalt paving, and related scopes
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs
• Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare and submit competitive bids
• Manage awarded projects from startup through completion
• Track project costs, budgets, quantities, and production
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and general contractors
• Handle change orders, project documentation, and billing information
• Monitor schedules and help keep projects on budget
• Attend preconstruction and project meetings as needed

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience estimating and/or managing heavy civil, grading, sitework, or asphalt paving projects
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimating
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working both independently and with field personnel
• Construction estimating/project management software experience is a plus
