Commercial Construction Project ManagerThis client is a family-owned general contractor that has been building in Dane County for over 40 years. Specializing mainly in large commercial projects, this firm has over $100M in project pipeline with a lot of that coming from repeat clientele.What sets this client apart:Strong pipeline: Over $100M in future pipelineDesign/Build: Efficient construction processesFamily-Owned: 20 employees, meaning you will have access to leadershipFlexible work hours: No clock watchingRepeat clients: Have decades long client relationships and 95% of work is negotiatedJob DescriptionLead all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams to maintain efficient project execution.Monitor construction quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents, building codes, and regulations.Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to resolve technical issues.Communicate project progress, risks, and financial performance with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.Negotiate and administer contracts while tracking project costs, forecasting budgets, and approving invoices.Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve field challenges, and ensure successful project turnover and client satisfaction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
