DescriptionAmazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of successful new build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects in our Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability (GEMS) Organization. This individual will lead a team of support personnel and coordinate the resources required to launch new and complex projects with the goals of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization within our network. The Project Manager will manage medium to large capital projects with accelerated schedule commitments. The Project Manager will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.This role requires up to 80% nationwide travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
