Join the State of Mississippi as a Project Manager, leading the implementation of a custom court case management system. This is a 2+ year remote contract opportunity where you'll serve as the critical bridge between the Courts and the system vendor, driving delivery on a high-impact public sector IT project. [Responsibilities]

• Lead vendor management to ensure contract scope, schedule, deliverables, and quality standards are met
• Establish and maintain a structured cadence for status updates, action tracking, and escalation
• Identify project risks and proactively drive corrective actions with both the vendor and Courts
• Oversee the migration of legacy data to MS Dynamics
• Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability among all stakeholders
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership

[Required Skills and Experience]

• PMP certification
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience with direct vendor oversight
• Proven track record in complex IT/software implementation projects
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
• Availability to start by the last week of June for pre-kickoff meetings

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with court or government systems
• Background in MS Dynamics migrations
• Advanced risk management skills
