This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of safety and regulatory standards in the power industry./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliLead and manage all phases of high voltage construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout./liliCollaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within scope, timeline, and budget./liliPrepare detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, cost estimates, risk management strategies, and resource allocation./liliOversee contractor performance, ensuring all work complies with specifications, regulations (e.g., OSHA, NERC), and safety standards./liliCoordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure technical specifications and design criteria are adhered to./liliMonitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project delivery, addressing any delays or issues promptly./liliManage project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports./liliEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and manage permit acquisition as necessary./liliConduct regular site visits to inspect work and ensure high standards of quality and safety./liliLead project meetings, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide regular project updates to senior management./liliManage and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, including scheduling delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges./liliOversee commissioning and handover processes, ensuring all systems meet operational and safety standards./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliBachelors degree Construction Management, or a related field (Masters degree or PMP certification preferred)./lili5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in high voltage transmission and distribution systems./liliProven experience managing projects within the power or utility sectors, particularly involving high voltage infrastructure (69kV and above)./liliIn-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and codes (e.g., NEC, NESC, IEEE)./liliStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices specific to high voltage projects./liliExceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders./liliProficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)./liliStrong problem-solving abilities and a high degree of attention to detail./liliAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment./liliWillingness to travel to project sites as required./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliPMP certification or similar project management certification./liliExperience with substation / TD construction, power plant projects, or renewable energy high voltage projects./liliKnowledge of contract negotiation and vendor management./li/ul/div
