Project Manager | Historic Restoration & Commercial Interiors
The Project Manager | Historic Restoration & Commercial Interiors will:
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously through all phases, from preconstruction planning to final turnover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and overall project execution strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee subcontractor buyouts, manage change orders, and maintain cost controls.
- Collaborate closely with field teams, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate restoration efforts on historically significant buildings while ensuring compliance with preservation requirements.
- Review drawings, assessments, and technical project documentation to support successful project delivery.
- Navigate permitting processes, agency approvals, and regulatory requirements associated with restoration projects.
- Oversee quality assurance measures including inspections, mock-ups, testing procedures, and final acceptance reviews.
- Manage projects in occupied or phased environments while maintaining operational continuity and safety standards.
- Drive schedule performance and budget adherence on complex, high-visibility construction projects.
- Ensure high-quality execution of premium interior finishes and specialty construction elements.
- Foster strong communication among clients, project teams, consultants, and ownership groups.

The Project Manager | Historic Restoration & Commercial Interiors will have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Proven success managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in varying phases of construction.
- Background in commercial construction, hospitality, restaurant, healthcare, or renovation projects.
- Knowledge of building envelope systems, masonry, roofing, waterproofing, structural restoration, or related scopes preferred.
- Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and change order management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment in Bethesda, MD.
