Job Details
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects.
- Experience overseeing projects from preconstruction through final turnover.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical piping, sheet metal, controls coordination, and MEP construction practices.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control, subcontractor management, procurement, and scheduling.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling software and construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent mechanical construction experience will also be considered.
- OSHA safety knowledge and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
