Project Manager II (Renewables/Solar)

Location: Our project-based roles are ideal for individuals who thrive in the field and want to see the direct impact of their work. You'll be assigned full-time to active project sites across our portfolio, working closely with experienced project teams and industry-leading clients. To support a sustainable travel lifestyle, team members return home every three weeks for a long weekend, providing regular opportunities to rest, recharge, and spend quality time at home before returning to the jobsite.

As Project Manager II, you'll be trusted with real ownership and responsibility from day one. You'll lead high-profile renewable energy projects while partnering with clients, trade partners, and field teams to safely deliver work that powers communities for decades to come. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities, and decisions that directly influence project success, giving you the chance to make your mark on projects that matter.

In this role, you'll guide project execution across safety, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while serving as a key leader for both internal teams and external partners. You'll help drive strategy, solve problems before they become roadblocks, manage subcontractor performance, and keep teams aligned around a common goal. Your ability to communicate, build relationships, and lead through challenges will be just as important as your technical expertise.

What You Bring

Candidates whose experience or expertise substantially exceed the requirements of the role are encouraged to apply, as we may have current or future roles which may better align with experience.

• Bachelor’s degree (engineering, construction management, or related), or equivalent combination of education/training/experience.
• 7+ years of related experience
• Renewable experience preferred by hiring leader (solar preferred; wind acceptable) and comfort working in a traveling, project-based environment.
• Experience managing both self-perform and subcontractor work.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, manage scope, and lead change management.
• Working knowledge of project systems/software (team commonly works across ACC and other platforms such as Procore/Ignite depending on customer needs).

Compensation

Target Hiring Range: $108,000 - $150,000 annually

Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $108,000 - $150,000 annually; compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
