Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager III for a Contract job with a client in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in Snowflake, Data Architecture, and Data Modeling, along with a proven track record leading enterprise-scale data platform modernization and migration initiatives.

Rate Range: $80/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager III job responsibilities include:

• Define and maintain the target-state architecture and technical roadmap for enterprise data platform modernization initiatives.

• Lead data architecture strategy, standards, governance, and design reviews across large-scale data and analytics programs.

• Design and optimize Snowflake-based cloud data platforms, including data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

• Establish enterprise data modeling standards, including dimensional modeling, analytical modeling, and Medallion Architecture frameworks.

• Develop and execute legacy-to-modern data migration strategies, including application rationalization, decommissioning planning, and platform transition roadmaps.

• Architect reusable ingestion, integration, API, and data service patterns supporting operational and analytical use cases.

• Design and implement enterprise data quality frameworks including lineage, observability, exception handling, data certification, and governance controls.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in:

• Data Architecture

• Data Engineering

• Data Warehousing

• Enterprise Analytics

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-scale Data Architecture roles.

• Advanced experience with: SQL, Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Warehouse Design, Medallion Architecture, Cloud Data Platforms

• Proven experience leading end-to-end legacy platform migrations through final source system decommissioning.

• Experience designing:

• Batch Data Pipelines

• Streaming Integrations

• API-Based Integrations

• Third-Party Data Ingestion Solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within: Utilities, Energy, Regulated Industries

• Knowledge of: GIS Data, Field Operations Data, Asset Management Data, Metering Data

• Experience with: Data Mesh, Data Products, Data Contracts, Federated Governance Models

• Strong experience with: Python, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Modern Data Engineering Toolsets.

• Experience supporting cloud cost optimization, consumption governance, chargeback, or showback models.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $90.00 per hour
