Job Description

The Project Manager will:

  • Lead projects from conceptual planning, preconstruction, and budgeting through final closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate closely with estimating teams during budgeting, bidding, and procurement phases.
  • Perform constructability reviews and identify opportunities to improve project execution.
  • Develop trade scopes and manage subcontractor procurement activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee subcontractor agreements.
  • Manage permitting activities and coordinate utility requirements.
  • Create and maintain complex CPM schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor project budgets, cash flow, schedules, and overall financial performance.
  • Direct project teams and provide leadership to project staff throughout execution.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction objectives are achieved.
  • Support occupied renovation projects while minimizing disruption to end users.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager will:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Experience leading at least two projects as the Project Manager of record.
  • Experience managing projects valued at a minimum of $10M.
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing project teams and project staff.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage CPM schedules.
  • Experience with contract administration, schedule management, and cash flow management.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience utilizing construction management technology platforms.
